The 84-link timing chain for TaoTao ATVs is not a drive chain but is enclosed within the ATV’s engine.

Note: This timing chain is not interchangeable with our 84 Link #420 Timing Chain for 110cc & 125cc Go-Karts & Dune Buggies. This TaoTao timing chain uses much smaller pins and links.

All chain counts include both outer AND inner link plates! For example, this 84-link chain includes 42 outer and 42 inner links (plates). Technically this would have formerly been called a 42-link, 84-pin chain. However most current usage, as well as many manufacturers, now refer to this as 84-link.
